Cem Karaca'nın Almanya öncesi son albümü Safinaz Türk rock tarihinde çok önemli yeri bulunan Fehiman Uğurdemir'inde içinde bulunduğu ve Cem Karaca'nın en kısa ömürlü grubu Edirdahan ile kaydettiği tek albüm. Albüm Safinaz (18:07 ) ve Şeyh Bedrettin Destanı (13:33 ) ve Karam (4:54) ile kısa sayılabilecek bir albüm. ama programda çaldığım Safinaz, piyasaya çıkmış benim bildiğim en uzun parça. ( yanlış ise lütfen mesaj atın düzelteyim )Parçadaki meyhane mizanseninde arka plandaki televizyonda TRT haberler filan çok hoşuma gider. parça devamlı değişen ritmleri , temaları ( pop , rock , ve hatta arabesk ) ve Kapıcı kızı Safinaz ve Muhasebeci Niyazi'yi tarihsel olarak anlatan hikaye yapısı ile çok başarılıdır. Müzisyenlik gerçekten harika.
Cem Karaca tek başına bir makale hatta kitap konusu. Bu yüzden her Cem Karaca ( bir çok kez çalacağım ) çaldığımda ayrı dönemlerine ayrı gruplarına değinmek istiyorum.

Eloy Almanya dışında büyük başarı sağlamış bir progressive rock grubu, 70 lerin hemen başından 90'ların sonuna kadar faaliyet gösterdi. Gerçi bir yerden sonra gitarist ve grup lideri Frank Bornemann'ın kişisel grubu haline geldi denilebilir. ve 80'lerin ortalarında gerçekten sıfırı tüketti. ( Metromania ve Ra gibi berbat albümler yaptı ) grubun 70lerdeki ilk dönemi ve 76 - 79 arasındaki en iyi albümlerini yaptığı dönem halen bir çok progrock sever için çok önemli.
Benim en beğendiğim albümlerden biri olan 1977 tarihli Ocean sözleri yazan ve Almanların en iyi davulcularından eski-Scorpions elemanı Jürgen Rosenthal - Frank Bornemann ortaklığında yaratılmış bir albüm. Rosenthall'in davul performansı prog-rock davul dersi diye bir ders olsa, son derste anlatılmalı ve finalde sorulmalı !!( ne zorlama bir benzetme oldu be !! )
Albüm bence Eloy'un zirve albümü ... Bu albüme kadar yükseldiler ve bundan sonra da devamlı alçaldılar malesef.

Revival - One Camel in Alaska ( Revival - 1979 ) İran
Yine bir ProgNotFrog keşfim !! Şah dönemi öncesinde bir çok iyi rock grubu olduğunu bildiğim İran'dan nihayet bir albüm dinleyebildim. tam İslam devriminin olduğu sene yayınlanmış albümün kapağına bakınca kimi görür gibi oldunuz ? Vangelis değil mi ? bu kadar benzerlik hakikaten ilginç. Ama müzik hiç mi hiç benzemiyor. Dinlediğimde Krautrock , jazzrockerlar Xhol Caravan Missus Beastly aklıma geldi hemen. tabiki coğrafya itibarıyla Revival oryantalist bir tarzda değil kendi topraklarından doğan bir etnik-fusion yapıyor. gayet başarılı ve tatmin edici bir emprovizasyon yetenekleri var.
Os Mutantes - Technicolor ( Jardim Elétrico - 1971 ) Brezilya
Brezilya'nın en popüler gruplarından Os Mutantes 60ların sonu 70lerin başında psychedelia'dan etkilenen Tropicália hareketinden etkilenen ve hareketi sürükleyen grup kurulduğunda bas gitarda Arnaldo Baptista Gitar ve Vokalde Sérgio Dias ve Vokalde Rita Lee'den oluşuyor ve folk ve hippie tarzı akustik , vokal ağırlıklı bir müzik yapıyordu. progressive rock denilebilecek tarza yönelmeleri vokalist Rita Lee'nin solo kariyerine başlaması ve bas gitarist Liminha ve davulcu Dinho'nun gruba girmesi ile başlıyor. 73 te kaydedilen fakat plak şirketi ile anlaşmazlıkları sonucu ancak 1992 yılında yayınlanan "O A e o Z" bu dönüşümü iyi yansıtır.
Döneminde pek uluslararası başarısı olmayan grup David Byrne'ın plak firması Luaka Bop tarafından yayınlanan plakları ile 90ların sonu 2000lerin başında yeni nesil tarafından da kabul gördü. ( ben de bunlardan biriyim )
Technicolor gerçekten güçlü bir beste ve harika bir düzenleme ...
Azize Mustafazade - Boomerang ( Dance Of Fire - 1995 ) Azerbaycan
Kadro inanılmaz ............ Al Di Meola , Stanley Clarke , Omar Hakim , Bill Evans , Kai Eckardt albüm çıktığında ilk defa Okan'da dinlemiştim ve hem müzisyenliğe ve hemde harika tema melodisine bayılmıştım. ilk defa dinlediğinizde sizi yakalayacak (catchy diyorlar dimi ? :) gerçi bunu biraz küçümsemek için kullanıyorlar ... ) melodilerden. Azize sayesinde Azerbaycan müziğinden ve babası büyük müzisyen Vagıf mustafazade'den ve büyük müzik gelenekleri Mugam'dan haberdar olduk?(m!) daha sonra pek takip edemedim nedense ama bu albüm gerçekten periyodik dinlediğim albümlerdendir.

What is Jukebox Junkies?
This is our place to share and introduce our music to the world. Basically, this site is open to everyone and anyone, especially to ALL music related sites. All it takes is your corporation. In a way, this place will benefit your site when people come here to listen to your music selections, moreover, you would be able to introduce and promote your site(s). Gradually people will start visiting your site(s). As for the others who neither have a blog nor a webpage to link-to, you can just create you own selection of songs by uploading it in the box and post it here. Wouldn't you love to be a blog DJ so others would be able to enjoy your music? Moreover, you can meet people and have new friends. There is no specific music category or niche here. You can upload any type of music, regardless its language, but your comments must be in English.
How it works
You must open a free account by registering with http://www.box.net/ or you can also directly download your music and subsequently open your account at http://www.box.net/ widget (recommended). All it takes is just 5 simple steps.
1st = Select your music files (must be MP3), upload up to a maximum of 3 (you can download more later)
2nd = Create a FREE BOX account (max 1GB / about 20+ MP3 files, depending on your file sizes, for 1 month). Post your email address and password. You manage your own box and MP3 files.
3rd = Click Upload and wait.
4th = (when the screen changes) select your preferred colour for your BOX, the size (just leave it at medium) and state the title of your Jukebox. (E.g. Tom’s Compilation or Rocker's Songs or Pop Idols, anything you wish to name your jukebox)
5th = Copy & paste the HTML/Java code to a notepad. Save it, attach it and email it to me at jukebox_junk@yahoo.com and subsequently I will load and post it here. You can also paste the code into you own web-page and manage it from there, or you can manage it from here, after I have loaded and posted your HTML/Java code.
Note: Don’t forget to upload your MP3 songs. You can do it anytime you wish, but please ensure you have least 3 upload songs before you send me your HTML/Java Code. You can open as many jukeboxes as you desire using different email address and it’s ALL FREE. If you need additional space like 5GB, you got to purchase it.
What you need to provide me
1st = Register with BOX, load at least three MP3 songs, copy the HTML/Java Code and email it to me. Please send me this information.

Basically, you can send me anything you want to present together with your jukebox. Remember, the more materials and information you provide, more people will be interested to view your box.
3rd = Everyday, I will check my email and update this blog.
Rules
Please don’t send any offensive pictures or any remarks which are unacceptable by the general public cause I won’t post it.
You can add and remove your selection of songs anytime, but it’s recommended to leave it for about at least a week before doing so. Please don't leave your jukebox empty or I will presume you no longer want to participate and i will remove it. Get a new box if you need to share more songs.
If you have any difficulty in the process, please send me an email and I will help you out.
